Ed is a big believer in self-awareness—knowing what you want and how to get there regardless of what may get in your way. He considers himself a success coach, helping people gain clarity on their goals and encouraging a positive mindset to help them achieve the highest possible levels of success.
Ed has spent the last three decades at premiere financial planning firm, Strategies for Wealth, where he’s applied his coaching and development skills to help build an exceptional team of self-aware financial advisors. As Chief Development Officer, Ed is responsible for recruiting, training, and developing associates who have been with the firm for three years or less and is wholly committed to helping them reach their goals. He helped build the comprehensive onboarding process and training program there, which provides developing advisors with the knowledge, structure, and mentality to achieve success and deliver measurable value for clients.
One of his unique strengths is creating a safe, non-judgmental environment for people to speak openly and honestly about their hopes and fears. It is through these truthful conversations that authentic and enduring relationships are born.
In his free time, Ed is passionate about giving back to his community. Whether teaching job interview skills to young children of color or coaching middle school basketball, Ed tries to broaden the view of what’s possible. He enjoys spending time with his wife Yvette and their children, Alex, and Jessica. You may also find Ed playing favorite records from his extensive vinyl collection or adding to his prized collection of Air Jordans.
“I realize everyone has a personal definition of success, but not everyone has a success coach dedicated to helping you get there.”
